The Wireless remote is available on field 2 using the Long Range Wireless system and microphone that is purchased from the club. See
skeetandtrap.com/FAQ for Video and Manual. Microphones are available for Purchase at the club House for $10
Warning: Voice activation can cause targets to be thrown from surrounding noise and extra button pushes. Extra target thrown while using
voice are the responsibility of the shooter. Lock On Mode, Report Mode and Skeet Sequence Mode are specially prone to throwing extra
birds.

Green Bird Shoot Volunteers Needed

Shoot Details – Green Bird – Trap -5-Stand Shoot – March 15th

We will need volunteers to help in the Green Bird Shoot on March 15th  Please consider taking some timeout to help the club.

Support needed:

  • Field setup,
  • Loading Throwers,
  • Clearing Waste
  • Pulling and Scoring – Skeet- Trap and 5-Stand.
  • Support in the Kitchen
  • Many other items

The Brown County Sportsman’s Club will be hosting its annual  Green Bird 100 Bird Trap -50 Bird 5-Stand Shoot. The event will be from 9:00 to 3:00 on March 15th.  Prizes for High Gun and Lewis Classes.  Lunch will be available.

Several Raffles are also going on at the club as well during the event.

Hunter’s Safety at BCSC. April 23rd to 30th 2025

DNR HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE

April 23, 28 & 30, 2025

The Green Bay Hunter Education Instructors Group is offering a 3-day DNR certified Hunter Education Course. This is a course focusing on the safe, responsible handling of firearms.  It is geared toward youth, 12 years of age and older, and persons new to the shooting sports.

  • Students successfully completing the course will receive their DNR Hunter Education Certification (required of persons born after January 1, 1973 to purchase a WI hunting license).
  • PRIOR ON-LINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for this course at https://dnr.wi.gov/education/outdoorskills/safetyeducation.html  See webpage “details; additional instructions will be emailed to students prior to the start of class.
  • Students need to pickup and complete student handbook before the first class on 4/23. There is a book pickup night scheduled for 4/7 from 6-7pm at the club.  Students have to read all chapters and answer the questions in the back of the book.  If they can’t get their book on that night they should contact Dan at 902-469-1215 to set up a time and place to get the book.  Please leave a message and Dan will get back to you.  Students must attend all 3 nights to complete the course and to receive their certification.

BCSC offers league shooting opportunities all year round.  We have spaces available for new teams on all nights.   If you need help setting up a team or finding a team, the League Managers can help or contact Ridge Johansen at 920-562-4179. Leagues are 15 week. Winter League Starts beginning of January. Summer League Starts beginning of May. Fall League starts the beginning of September. Check the Club Calendar for exact dates.

  • Tuesday Trap and Ironman – Year Round 6:00 to 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday Trap – Summer Only – 6:00 to 10:00 PM
  • Thursday Skeet and 5- Stand Year Round- 6:00 to 10:00 PM

Each league shoot requires 5 shooters. Teams usually have their regular shooters and 1 or 2 substitute shooters.  The Summer and Fall League is a 25 bird – Handicap Trap League. Winter League is a 16 yard league.

Each league shoot requires 5 shooters. Teams usually have their regular shooters and 1 or 2 substitute shooters.  Ironman League goes through weekly rotation of 5 different shooting sports. The rotation is Wobble Trap, Skeet, Doubles Trap, X-Trap, and 5-Stand.
