Shamrock Leather Bag Trap Shoot 2017

The Shamrock Leather Bag Trap Shoot and the Jim Fuller Memorial is this coming Saturday June 24th. We welcome all of the Trap Shooters who are coming to this event. Details on the shoot are available here: www.skeetandtrap.com

To the Members: We are looking for volunteers for this event. Help is needed to load trap houses, score and many other jobs. These events are fun and mean a lot to our club. All you need to do is show up. Please see Dave Conway or Mike Lewis. For those who can score, please see Mike May who runs this shoot.

We look forward to another great shoot.

See you at the club next Saturday the 24th.

The Scholastic Clay Target Shoot May 6-7, 2017

The Scholastic Clay Target Shoot was a real success. The weather was great with a brisk north breeze. A total of 1512 rounds of 25 birds were thrown for 378 shooters. This happened without a single equipment failure. Major thanks to 30 member volunteers, most for the entire weekend.

Thank you,
Dave Conway
(president)

Allison with a 75 straight for 99/100 and Alan with a 50 straight for 84/100. Thank you to all who attended. It truly was an inspirational weekend to see such an outstanding group of young men and women. We wish all well and shoot straight.

Skeet Banquet December 29

The Banquet for the Fall Skeet Leagues was a success.  Around 70 shooters were present. A delicious chicken dinner was served with homemade beans that were outstanding.  Dave Strehlow received a plaque and a picture in recognition of his 18 years running the skeet leagues.

Jim Decker (left) is High Gun for A League and Dave Maas (right) is High Gun Overall. Congratulations.

Thank you to all who shot in the league and to all who pitched in to make the banquet a success.

Thank you Brian Fraser for running the league. You are doing a great job!

We hope to see all back shooting the winter league.

Winter leagues will begin January 5, 2017.

CWSL Make-UP Shoot for Cancelled December 18, Sheboygan

Make-Up Shoot for the Cancelled December 18 Shoot Sheboygan will be held during their next regular shoot date on February 26.

100 Targets per shooter will be offered. The first 50 targets will be scored for the December 18 shoot. The second 50 targets will be scored for the February 26 shoot.

There will be separate Lewis Class and Pins awarded for each shoot as usual.

You are not required to shoot 100 targets on that day if you choose not to.

Thank you,

Rich Rawson

Please Note:

“We will hold a special drawing for those shooters staying that day to

shoot 100 targets.  Four names will be drawn and 3 will win $25 each and

the 4th will win shotgun primers.  The $25 checks will be written from

the CWSL account.

The Sheboygan club will be running this drawing at the counter – details

to be worked out by them.”

“Any help with pulling and loading machines that day with many people

staying to shoot 100 targets will be appreciated.”

Thank you,

Rick Rawson
