New Pat Traps Installed in Trap Houses

The Club’s old Pat-Trap Throwers used for throwing Trap Targets have more than a million targets each and were showing their wear with increased operational and maintenance issues. The decision was made to trade them in for new throwers from Pat-Trap.

Great thanks goes to Bob Olsen for managing the acquisition and installation of these new throwers. The throwers were installed on December 21 and 22. Thanks also goes to Dan Hochleutner, Tony Anderson, Dan Gulmire, Al Sutrick and Ridge Johansen for helping in the installation. Be sure to thanks these people for the effort to make this happen.

The new trap throwers are installed in fields 2 through 5 currently. Field one will be installed before that field is reopened in the spring of the year. Field 5 now has wobble functionality like field 6. This is to support the growing interest in the Ironman League. Field 6 was not replaced because of the much lower numbers of cycles that machine has been through than the others.

Operational these throwers work like the old ones, so for the end users this is a transparent change that will give you a more reliable and enjoyable shooting experience.

ENJOY!!!
